Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to purchases, reservations, sourcing assignments, sales, trade-ins, auction participation and other services provided by WEYMONT WATCHES.

1 — Scope and definitions

WEYMONT means WEYMONT WATCHES. A client is any private individual or legal entity entering into an agreement with WEYMONT. A watch includes any timepiece, box, papers and accessories described in the order confirmation.

These terms apply to every offer, reservation, purchase, sale, sourcing assignment, valuation, trade-in, consignment and auction transaction with WEYMONT.

Any deviation is valid only when confirmed by WEYMONT in writing. If one provision is unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue to apply.

2 — Offers, availability and agreement

Offers are non-binding and subject to availability until accepted and payment has been received or separately confirmed. Prices and market availability may change without notice.

An agreement is formed when WEYMONT confirms the order, reservation, winning auction bid, sourcing assignment or purchase offer in writing.

Photographs form part of the condition description but may differ slightly due to lighting and screen settings. Reference, serial information, included accessories and known condition points are stated in the confirmation.

3 — Prices and taxes

Consumer prices are stated in euros and include applicable VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Margin-scheme treatment may apply to pre-owned watches and does not create a separately deductible VAT amount.

Insured delivery within the quoted destination is included only where expressly stated. Customs duties, import taxes and charges outside the quoted scope are payable by the client.

WEYMONT will never increase an agreed purchase price after payment, except where the client requests a material change to delivery or transaction terms.

4 — Payment and reservations

Online card and iDEAL payments are processed by our payment provider. Higher-value transactions may require verified bank transfer before release of the watch.

A reservation deposit — €500 up to €5,000, €1,000 up to €10,000, €2,500 up to €20,000, €5,000 up to €30,000 and 10% above €30,000, unless a different amount is stated on the product page — temporarily removes an eligible watch from sale for the period stated on the reservation page. The deposit is deducted from the final purchase price.

If the client does not complete payment within the agreed reservation period, WEYMONT may cancel the reservation. Refundability of a deposit is shown before payment and confirmed by email.

WEYMONT may pause a transaction while performing identity, payment-source, sanctions or fraud checks required by law or risk policy.

5 — Authentication and condition

Every watch sold by WEYMONT is inspected for authenticity and checked against the description before release. Where appropriate, specialist or manufacturer documentation may supplement our inspection.

Pre-owned watches show normal signs of age and use unless described as unworn. Polishing, service history and replacement parts are disclosed where known and material.

WEYMONT guarantees that a sold watch is authentic. This does not constitute a prediction of future market value, investment return or manufacturer servicing decisions.

6 — Client information and compliance

The client must provide accurate identity, billing, delivery and ownership information and may be asked to provide identification or source-of-funds evidence.

A client selling or consigning a watch warrants that they are the lawful owner, that the watch is free of undisclosed security interests and that all supplied information is accurate.

WEYMONT may refuse or cancel transactions where legal, sanctions, fraud, provenance or authenticity concerns cannot be resolved.

7 — Delivery, collection and risk

Delivery estimates are indicative. Watches are dispatched only after cleared payment and completion of final authentication and compliance checks.

Shipments are fully insured to the confirmed address and generally require identification and signature. Address changes after payment require written approval and renewed verification.

Risk transfers upon documented delivery or handover at a private collection appointment. Ownership transfers only after full payment.

8 — Warranty and aftercare

Any remaining manufacturer warranty is transferred where transferable and documented. Additional WEYMONT warranty coverage is stated on the product page or invoice.

Warranty excludes normal wear, accidental or water damage, magnetic exposure, misuse, unauthorised opening or repair, and service needs consistent with the age of a mechanical watch.

Concerns must be reported promptly with photographs and the order reference. The watch may need to be returned by an insured method arranged or approved by WEYMONT before assessment.

9 — Care and servicing

Mechanical watches require periodic servicing. Water-resistance ratings are not permanent and should be pressure-tested before exposure to water.

The client is responsible for following the manufacturer’s use and care guidance. Straps, seals and other wear items are not covered unless defective at delivery.

10 — Returns and cancellation

Consumers purchasing at distance may have a statutory fourteen-day withdrawal right, subject to legal exceptions. The return procedure on our Returns page forms part of these terms.

Returned watches must be unworn, unaltered and complete with all supplied box, papers, tags, links and accessories. WEYMONT may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the watch.

Personalised, specially sourced or otherwise legally excluded goods may not qualify for withdrawal. Auction purchases and business transactions may be subject to different cancellation rights where permitted by law.

11 — Liability and market information

To the extent permitted by law, WEYMONT is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, missed market appreciation or changes in resale value.

Market commentary, estimates and valuations are opinions at a point in time and are not financial or investment advice. Historic performance does not guarantee future value.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from intent or deliberate recklessness.

12 — Force majeure

WEYMONT is not responsible for delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including carrier disruption, customs holds, government measures, network failures, natural disasters or failures by specialist service partners.

Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event. If performance becomes permanently impossible, amounts paid for the unperformed part will be refunded where required by law.

13 — Personal data

WEYMONT processes personal data to perform transactions, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and provide service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Messages and uploaded watch photographs or documents may be used to assess an enquiry, valuation, sale or sourcing request and are not sold to third parties.

14 — Complaints and governing law

Complaints may be submitted to sales@aureawatch.com. WEYMONT WATCHES confirms receipt within two business days and aims to provide a substantive response within fourteen days.

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, without limiting any mandatory right of a consumer to bring proceedings before another legally competent court.
